Enzyme ResearchArticle Comments

Let’s talk about where you can read about research on enzymes.

There are a lot of well written books that the lay public can read about enzymes. They are quite different from the books you read about enzymes if you’re in formal medical or biological education.

You should start with Dr. Howell’s book, Enzyme Nutrition. I recommend this not only out of respect for Dr. Howell, the man who put enzymes on the map as the most renowned enzymologist in the world’s history, but it’s also very well written book. It gives you the premise of why enzymes are so powerful.

As I always address this in conferences, enzymes are like the switches that switch all processes on in your body and cells. Dr. Howell’s book, Enzyme Nutrition, is where to start. There are other great books on the subject. You can find them on the internet.

How do we know these enzymes are used in our body? For decades we’ve offered the health educator program along with the three-week Life Change program.

My wife is one of the world’s leading experts and researchers in microscopic fields. She demonstrates when you look at people’s blood, you’ll see the blood cells sticking together because they don’t individually have enough energy and nutrition. They come together to try to suck up that little bit of nutrition and energy existing there.

You can literally have that all change within a three to four-minute period just by consuming enzymes. For those who doubt enzymes go through the digestive system, it’s one way we can tag it and see it. We have never demonstrated in one case over decades that it hasn’t immediately shown up within three to four minutes in the bloodstream. It has gone through the digestive system.

Companies that make these enzymes for us have done extensive studies on this and have tagged them, literally seeing them come out in the gastrointestinal flora in the bacteria area. This is something that is widely understood.

We may have the old understanding of anatomy, physiology and biochemistry that says that things going through the digestive system will be killed, but that’s not the only place that enzymes and nutrients go into the body.

We’ve neglected to understand that there is quantum biology today. Quantum biology shows us that food nutrients, including enzymes, start to go right through the capillaries in the mouth as we’re chewing. They don’t even wait to go through the stomach and other digestive areas. That’s very well understood.
