What is the Best Form of Water to Drink—Distilled, Reverse Osmosis, or Something Else?
Water is a very interesting subject today. After Penta Water came out here in the United States, everyone jumped on the water bandwagon. Boy, did that guy make millions of dollars! What he did was put an electrical charge in some average water and sell it for $1.50 to $2 a bottle. He made all these mystical claims and people were buying cases of it. The placebo effect was powerful. People were saying they could fly, their sex life was better, and cancer had fallen out of their body.
The truth of the matter is that our concern with water is to get the purest H2O, hydrogen and oxygen, available. In the scientific community, we have always used (and probably always will use) distilled water. You have the non-scientific camp of salesmen who are going to tell you that distilled water is dead water. It is. The way we make it is we boil it and we kill it. By the way, you can’t kill hydrogen and oxygen, so it’s dead water that’s only pretending to be dead, just like I did when I was a little boy.
That group of people will tell you that it’s going to rob you of nutrients. The fact of the matter is that hydrogen and oxygen do not have the capability to negotiate with the human cell and seduce minerals and other nutrients out of the cell. I’ve been drinking distilled water for well over 30 years. I have very strong bones and I’ve never seen my body fall apart. As a matter of fact, I feel stronger every single year.
Reverse osmosis. Years ago, we used to be able to tell people that if you bought a very expensive, sophisticated machine it was a great machine but it wasn’t necessary. Then these crazy people in the oil industry started to add an additive to water that was purportedly going to help reduce air pollution. They found out that didn’t happen. As a matter of fact, the air pollution got more obnoxious and toxic. Now this darn chemical, an ethyl called MTBE, is all over our aquifers and underground rivers. It’s in all of our water all over the world. This is deadly. As a matter of fact, it was called by all of the environmental organizations and governmental organizations “the most deadly carcinogenic (cancer–causing) chemical ever unleashed in the environment.” Reverse osmosis sadly doesn’t take that out.
We have a machine that we consider the Rolls Royce of machines that was developed, designed and put together by a medical doctor who in his own practice started to see that hydration was significant and dehydration was the cause of a lot of the problems that we have today. It’s 17 phases, and one of the phases is alkalizers. It’s too bad that people today are telling you that alkalizers are enough to purify your water. They’re not. They are terrific. Alkalizers charge and empower the water, for lack of better terms, but they don’t purify the water well enough.
You need a system that really takes all of the heavy metals, toxins and poisons. Some of the studies that you may not be aware of articulate that.
A number of years ago the State of California wisely tested every waterway, every lake, river and stream that they had in the state, and they found out that every single one of them was contaminated with pharmaceutical medicine.
How is that true? Frankly, when we urinate and defecate out pharmaceutical drugs, because they have been molecularly changed in the process of laboratory monstering (or as I call it Frankensteinism), they do not have the biological ability to break down in the environment. All pharmaceutical drugs originate from plants or rocks, but it’s that manipulation that changes the molecule and the atomic structure so it no longer can adapt back to the biology of the environment.
With that said, we are not sure how long it takes for a drug to break down. Nobody has done a study on this. I think they take a long time to break down. Some of the radioactivity, like nuclear medicine, may take 100,00 years or more to break down.
Think about all of that. How many of these systems take it out? Only one, distillation, has the level of organized filtration that I’m talking about. No other systems take that out. if you’re worried about distilled water being bad, put it in a glass jar, shake it up, stick it in the window, pray over it, sing to it or whatever you want. By the way, that may make you feel good, but it’s good water.
A highly sophisticated system like the living water system, the wellness systems that we use at Hippocrates, is available worldwide. That is going to remove the ethyl we spoke about and also give you high quality water. That’s proven itself to be phenomenally effective.
