Hello, first off, Iw as just wondering if this is an active board?
I know this site is being promoted via your direct mailings, but there doesn't seem to be much activity on AR's side? No matter, thanks for getting "out there" and love your work and your message.
Now, a few things to help you...
I would suggest switching the forum over Vbulletin. It's much more flexible, and you have great support from multiple places on the web, plus the ability to use plugins, such as VBSEO, which will restructure your permalinks for better SEO. (you will be found for certain criteria then)
Next, I would add categories to the sidebar of the article directory. As it stands, there is no way for user to sort and view the content they need, just multiple pages. By organizing and catgegorizing, you will greatly increase the user interface.
I see that many people are asking how to ask Dr. Clement (Brian) a question. I'm sure you could book an appointment or hire him to speak, but that doesn't really do any community building. I would recommend you look at Ustream, which is a live streaming video engine. You can easily please your community and leverage your time efficiently by scheduling a plan. Such as, use your mailing list (not direct mail, email marketing; autoresponder, whatever you use) to send out notifications for set time to do a live Q & A sessions, for like half hour to fourty five or something. Users can then log on the live video feed (and chat) and get to type in questions to be answered. Simple, effective, and users love it.
Next on the list would be twitter. If you're not on it, have someone in your organization start "tweeting" for you. That should get you involved in social media, but is just the door opener. People will follow you and it gives you, yet another way to keep folks updated. (is mobile compatible as well)
That should get you started and offer more exposure. If you have any questions about anything that I mentioned, feel free to contact me through the info I used to register here with.
