Sprouts super easy to sprout
Haven't tried yet, but can't post without rating so figured it would be Best rating to me as I'm into sprouts. I'm really big into sprouting these days. Super simple and cheap. Trick: wide mouth, glass 1/2 GALLON size WIDE MOUTH jars sold at Ace Hardware which may be pricey, but worth it. i find this best size for the lids to fit over too. Yes, the sprouting lids I feel are important. I bought at health food store plastic ones that screw on. It best for me having various sizes when sprouts start growing. Online you can find steps, but encouraging all, it's worth the small amount of time. I have a new jar going each day. Getting tons by just adding seeds to bottom of jar, not measuring, soak overnight, next day rinse, then 2x day rinse keeping in dark place. Close to time roots are happening may start to bring it out into light for some "liquid green eating pleasure. Oh, need to rinse old seeds that didn't sprout and toss when they hit the bottom of a large bowl sitting with water in it. For this recipe I would use 4 different jars, but some may combine the cabbage and alfalfa. Hope we get to see more recipes. I love the fancy ones with pictures if we can get pictures posted here too. I can see this recipe on a sandwich, in nori roll too. carolg
